Soul Connections: Deep Calls to Deep
Living deep in prayer and merciful action

Please note: Registration costs cover lodging only. Registration closes May 1.

Living and breathing a contemplative life is grounded in the combined intentional practice of piety AND mercy. This is not an either/or, but a both/and way of faithful living. The practice of centering prayer is but the beginning of the daily practice of responding to the world as God directs us too in the ordinary and extraordinary. Come join us as we go delve deeper into the God possibilities of prayer and action, both an absolutely necessity in order to engage and serve with love of God and others.

Retreat leader Rev. Jenn Klein will lead us in four sessions during our time together:

Session One:  Centering Prayer
Session Two:  The Contemplative Life
Session Three:  Building a Personal Foundation
Session Four:  Contemplative Prayer AND Action

Optional pre-reading: Open Mind, Open Heart by Thomas Keeting

About Jenn: Rev. Jenn Klein currently serves as the senior pastor of Hamilton United Methodist Church. She is a certified spiritual director and current student coach with Coaching4Clergy. Sharing the journey of living the contemplative life with Christ and others is a passion of Jenn's, which she conveys with hospitality, enthusiasm, and compassion.
